Granddaddy Pluto Cannabis Review: Cookies Brand Indica with Relaxing Effects and Gassy Aromas
Alright, I've been researching the Cookies Brand Granddaddy Pluto all week with my Davinci IQ and finally feel ready to share my review. We almost ran out by the time I wrote this, which isn't the worst sign. Cookies Brand, to me, offers good pot that's mostly affordable. It is a massive brand that makes up the majority of the cookies store. It's not quite at the level of designer weed like Ted’s Budz, but it's consistently good in my opinion. This eighth went for $35 at the Cookies in Napa.
Strain Information:
There’s conflicting information on the origins of Granddaddy Pluto. Leafly claims the strain is the offspring of Gelato 33 and Triangle Kush. Other sources say it derives from Granddaddy Purple and Pluto Kush. I tend to believe Leafly, but there is still some uncertainty.
Appearance:
This flower shows a lot of nice purple tones and has some orange pistils and a good number of frosty trichomes.
Aromas:
This flower is gassy and gives off aromas of fresh citrus peel and pine. Smoking it, I tasted grape-like flavors that were pretty tasty.
The High:
I find this strain to be pretty mellow. It offers a very relaxing high. The body high is good, although it's not "melt-into-your-couch" pot. The high is pretty chill, great for taking the edge off after work. I don’t find it to be overly heady, although it does offer an elated head high.
The Verdict:
This pot was solid. For $35, I would recommend picking this up for sure. It’s a nice, chill indica that is perfect for relaxing. I didn’t find smoking it to be a life-changing experience, but it offered a really enjoyable high. Keep in mind that I could only dream of pot of this quality back in Pennsylvania. This is good bud. Were giving this a 7.8.
